I started out as a sports journalist working on a suburban daily newspaper in Sydney Australia.
I went on to edit the newspaper’s weekly Arts Section, which featured profiles and interviews with Australian film and TV actors, performers, dancers, musicians and international acts.
I left the shores of Sydney, Australia in 1996. In the last 16 years I have written for a range of publications including The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Special Sections, Business 2.0 magazine, Tornado Insider, Global Finance, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, Philanthropy Management and Defence Procurement International.
In addition to being a journalist and editor I also trained as a sound engineer and recently completed courses in video production and film editing in Final Cut Pro. I am now working on more online and multimedia projects (infographics, short films, interactive slideshows) in addition to continuing to write for various business magazines.
